Derrick Huang

Derrick Huang is an experienced producer currently working at Nathan Love since December 2024. Prior to this role, Derrick held significant positions at LAIKA Studios from August 2016 to November 2024, serving as Head of Character Production, where oversight was maintained over a diverse production team responsible for creating characters using advanced 3D printing technology. Derrick also contributed to Bent Image Lab as Executive Producer from May 2015 to August 2016, managing operations for a creative studio catering to a prestigious client list, including brands like Porsche and Coca-Cola. Earlier, Derrick was Head of Production at Nathan Love from September 2008 to March 2015, ensuring resource allocation and project delivery. Experience includes a role as Associate Producer on the feature film "Almost Perfect" and as Associate Marketing Manager at Entertainment Weekly, focusing on audience development initiatives. Derrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from New York University, completed in 2006.
