Peter Gaffney

Peter Gaffney serves as the President of Global TV at VICE Media since May 2019, previously holding the position of Senior Vice President, Content Strategy & Program Scheduling. Gaffney is also the Producer and Host of the podcast REWIND, which explores nostalgic aspects of pop culture through interviews with various experts. Prior experience includes leading multiplatform programming at MTV International and serving as Senior Vice President of Programming Strategy and Scheduling at The History Channel, where significant contributions helped elevate the network's standing. Gaffney has held vice president roles at AMC Networks, VH1, and MTV Networks, and has been involved in program scheduling since 1994. In addition to a successful career in television, Gaffney co-authored two books on American history and has undergone executive education at Harvard Business School, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Rutgers University.
