Walter Ibarra Davila

Walter Ibarra Davila is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive Assistant - Refugee Services National Program Coordinator at Church World Service since March 2024, and as an APEC Trade Advisor at Nathan Associates since March 2023. In addition to these roles, Walter holds the position of Chief Financial Officer and Board Member for The Millennials Movement, a volunteer organization focused on sustainable community development. Formerly, Walter specialized in Trade Defense, Competition, and State-Owned Enterprises at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism from March 2017 to September 2022, and was also an APEC Forum Coordinator, representing Peru at key meetings. Walter’s early experience includes teaching Intermediate Financial Accounting as a Teacher-Assistant at Universidad del Pacífico and conducting research for Amrop Peru. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Professional degree in Economics, and a specialization in Public Administration from Universidad del Pacífico, along with a summer course at CUOA Business School.
