Karthik Subramanian has a diverse and extensive work experience. Karthik is the Founder & Head of Chapter Network and Chief Expansion Officer at StudentBono, where they established prominent chapters in various high schools and formed partnerships with nonprofit organizations. Karthik also served as the Nonprofit Coordination Director & Internship Management Lead at StudentBono, where they worked with over 100 organizations and institutions to execute projects. Additionally, Karthik was the Outreach Director at StudentBono, where they contacted over 400 organizations and formed partnerships with libraries to expand the community presence.

Furthermore, Karthik is the Co-Founder & Co-Captain of the American High School Quiz Bowl Club at National Academic Quiz Tournaments. Karthik achieved notable success in this role, with their team placing 2nd in several competitions. Karthik is also the Founder & Captain of the American High School History Bowl Club at International Academic Competitions, where they lead a team in buzzer-based history quiz competitions.

In addition to their involvement in academic competitions, Karthik founded and served as the President & Editor-in-Chief of Eagle Explorer, an organization focused on exploring various fields. Karthik was also involved in the American High School Engineering and Technology Club, where they held various leadership roles such as President, Events Director, Secretary, and Events Coordinator. Karthik successfully led STEAM classes and outreach activities as the Outreach Captain at Team Skywalkers. Karthik also served as a Youth Team Member in the same organization, participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition and teaching STEM to underserved communities.

Moreover, Karthik was the General Secretary at App-In Club, a global student-run coding club. Karthik organized classes, workshops, competitions, and discussions on app development and computer science. Karthik also served as the Educational Content Manager at MakerGhat, leading an educational YouTube channel for underserved students and creating crash courses and speaker events on STEM topics.

Furthermore, Karthik has research experience as a Machine Learning Researcher and Astrophysics Researcher at the Aspiring Scholars Directed Research Program (ASDRP). Karthik also served as the Outreach & Events Officer at the American High School Artificial Intelligence Club, organizing guest speakers, networking opportunities, and workshops.

In 2021, they also participated in the Early College Program/Dual Enrollment at East Los Angeles College, focusing on Physics. Additionally, they took part in the College Connection Concurrent Enrollment Program at Cañada College in 2021, studying Astronomy. During the same year, they participated in the Early College High School Program at Ohlone College, with a field of study in Chemistry. In 2022, Karthik enrolled in the LaunchX Entrepreneurship Program, where they explored the field of Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Karthik also engaged in the Concurrent High School Enrollment at Los Angeles Pierce College in 2022, focusing on Business. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Engineering Virtual Program from Goldman Sachs, the Project Management Virtual Experience from Accenture, the STEM Connect Virtual Experience from Deloitte, the GE Explorer Series: Engineering Program from GE, the Globally Responsible Engineering Virtual Experience Programme from Engineering Without Borders (EWB), the Virtual Startup Internship Program: Future Economies from Western Sydney University, and the Virtual Startup Internship: Smart Cities from Sydney School of Entrepreneurship, all in either 2022 or 2023.
