Karina Sumano

Karina Sumano is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as the Marketing Manager at the American Montessori Society since September 2021. Previously, Karina held various roles at Achievement First, including Marketing and Project Management Associate and Marketing and Communications Coordinator, from June 2018 to September 2021. Karina's earlier experience includes serving as Marketing Manager for the University of South Carolina’s Office of Sustainability, where responsibilities involved event planning, community engagement, and marketing material design. Additionally, Karina has teaching experience as an ESL Teacher for multiple organizations, further complemented by a history in public relations and brand management through roles at companies such as Marketing Werks and Ralph Lauren. Karina holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology, alongside a minor in English and a study abroad experience at the London College of Fashion.
