Lynn Gates

Lynn Gates is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience as a Mediation Panel Member for the Western District of New York Federal Court since June 2019 and as a member of the NY Chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals since January 2020. Additionally, Lynn serves as a Partner at Smith, Murphy and Schoepperle, where a career began as an Associate Attorney in August 1976. Lynn has held multiple leadership roles, including as a Board Member of the Charles S. Desmond Inns of Court since January 2005 and as a Board Member for the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation since January 1998. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Buffalo State University (1973-1976) and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Theatre from Smith College (1963-1967).
