Associate Professor Frances Batchelor

Associate Professor Frances Batchelor currently serves as Principal Research Fellow and Director of Clinical Gerontology at the National Ageing Research Institute, having held various roles since October 2010. In addition, Frances is a Grade 3 Physiotherapist at Austin Health since August 2008. Prior experience includes positions as Grade 4 Physiotherapist/Allied Health Team Leader at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, and Grade 3 Physiotherapist at Western Health. Frances' educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences, a Graduate Diploma of Education in Sport Science from Deakin University, a Master of Health Studies from The University of Queensland, a Doctor of Philosophy in Falls Prevention After Stroke from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy from the University of Canberra.
