Markeya Martin

Markeya Martin is an experienced education specialist currently working at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization since May 2021. Prior to this role, Markeya served as a coordinator for mission areas at The ALS Association, focusing on program development and execution. Markeya also held the position of grant coordinator at THE BEACON INSTITUTE, INC., where responsibilities included building relationships with grant funders and community partners. Earlier experiences include serving as a visiting scholar at Northwell Health Department of Medicine, various roles at The Beacon Institute, and positions in residence safety at Hofstra University. Markeya began the career in education as a teacher's assistant at Miatta's Daycare and had early work experience at Starbucks. Markeya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from Hofstra University.
