Sarah Simmons

Sarah Simmons serves as the Senior Director of Quality at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization since July 2022, previously holding the role of Director of Quality. Prior to this, Sarah was the Executive Director of Calvert Hospice for 14 years, overseeing all operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Experience also includes leadership roles in quality and clinical operations, as well as an adjunct faculty position at the College of Southern Maryland. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Nursing focused on Nursing Education from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
