Reesa Artz

Reesa E. Artz, BSN, RN, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Body Positive Alliance, advocating for self-worth independent of physical attributes and promoting equitable access to opportunities. Experience includes roles at Duke University Union as a Graduate Assistant overseeing student-led events and at Duke University Health System providing high-quality neonatal care. Reesa's clinical experience spans various specialties, including medical-surgical, neurology, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Involvement with the M-PACT Scholars Program has included delivering healthcare education and services to underprivileged populations, while participation in the Postpartum Partners Program has focused on culturally sensitive support for new families. Reesa also contributes to the National Eating Disorders Association as a Remote Helpline Intern and operates A&R Designs, curating vintage treasures. Educational achievements encompass pursuing a PhD in Indigenous & Rural Health, alongside a Master's degree and a certificate in Global Health from Duke University.
