Greg Brown

Greg Brown has a diverse work experience in government affairs and advocacy, primarily in the housing industry. Greg has held leadership positions at various organizations, including the National Apartment Association, National Association of Home Builders, Smith Bucklin & Associates, and The Bonner Group.

At the National Apartment Association, Greg served as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, overseeing advocacy efforts for 170 affiliated apartment associations across the US. Greg led a team to implement comprehensive strategies for federal, state, and local advocacy.

Prior to that, they worked at the National Association of Home Builders as the Assistant Vice President of Government Affairs, where they guided lobbying efforts on federal tax issues and led a team responsible for various legislative areas.

Greg also has experience in nonprofit development and community affairs, having worked at The Bonner Group and Hernandez Engineering, respectively.

Greg Brown earned their B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University, completing their studies from 1991 to 1993. Afterward, they pursued a Masters degree in Public Administration at American University from 1993 to 1995. Prior to attending Texas A&M, they studied Political Science and Government at Saint John's University from 1989 to 1991 before transferring to Texas A&M University to complete their degree. In terms of additional certifications, Greg obtained a certification in "Develop Critical-Thinking, Decision-Making, and Problem-Solving Skills" from LinkedIn in February 2023.
