Rethea Powell

Rethea Powell, MBA, MS in Finance, is a Senior Financial Controller Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since February 2016. Rethea has extensive experience in Corporate Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, SEC reporting, financial forecasting, and managing accounting operations. Rethea previously worked as an Auditor at Deloitte where Rethea gained valuable experience in audit procedures and financial reporting. In addition to their professional work, Rethea serves as the Director of Community Affairs at the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). Prior to their career in finance, Rethea worked as an Accounting Tutor at Monroe College while pursuing their education, including a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance.
