Cheryl Modica is an experienced health care leader currently serving as the Director of the Quality Center at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) since February 2016, where efforts focus on improving health outcomes, patient and staff experiences, and promoting equity through the development of the Value Transformation Framework. Previous roles include Acting Vice President of Clinical Strategy and Operations at EmblemHealth, where strategic oversight of care management policies was provided, and Director of Clinical Program Development, responsible for the wellness and population health strategy. Cheryl's extensive background at NACHC from 1995 to 2012 includes serving as Co-Director of the Patient Centered Medical Home Institute and Director of the Redesigning the Patient Visit Collaborative. Academic credentials include a PhD in Public Health Administration from New York University, a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont.
