Kyu Rhee, MD, MPP has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Community Health Centers, where they ensure the delivery of high-quality, affordable primary care to millions of patients across the United States. They also hold positions at various prestigious institutions, including Stanford University School of Medicine, where they are a Senior Scholar dedicated to improving the affordability and quality of healthcare. Additionally, Dr. Rhee is an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on protecting public health and educating future leaders in the field. They are also involved in research and advocacy through roles as a Senior Scholar at The Center for Professionalism and Value in Healthcare, a Senior Advisor at The Kennedy Forum, and a Senior Advisor at HLTH Foundation. Further, Dr. Rhee offers strategic advice in areas such as digital health and nutrition access as a Strategic Advisor for Instacart and a Medical Advisory Board Member for Found. Kyu Rhee, MD, MPP, pursued their education with a focus on medicine and health policy. Kyu obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Yale University. Following this, they attended the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Rhee then pursued a Residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at UCLA. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Health Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to their higher education, Rhee graduated from St. Albans School (D.C.) with a High School Diploma.
