Meaghan McCarter

Meaghan McCarter is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in research, education, and community service. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Programming Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at American University, Meaghan also contributes as a Program Associate in Development & Innovation at the National Association of Community Health Centers. Previous roles include a barista at Starbucks, a server at Ada's on the River, a Community Leadership Intern at The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, and a Summer Outreach Intern at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, & Humanities. Meaghan's early experience includes a Legislative Intern position with the Indiana Senate Democrats and a Summer Orientation Leader role at Ball State University. Meaghan holds a Master of Arts in Ethics, Peace, & Human Rights with a concentration in Peace & Conflict Resolution from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science & Philosophy from Ball State University.
