Brian D. Felix

Brian D. Felix is currently the Chairman at National Association of Construction Auditors. Brian has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to their current position, they were the Director - Construction Services & Forensics Auditing at Jefferson Wells and the Contract Compliance Officer at Inova Health System.

Brian started their career in construction when they became the Director - Construction Services & Forensics Auditing at Jefferson Wells. Within seven months, they became the largest Construction Services practice in the Company (35 offices). Brian was awarded 2004 Employee of the Year for the Mid-Atlantic region and promoted to Director, Internal Audit & Controls. Brian's potential recoveries exceeded the cost of the services by a 12:1 ratio.

In 2005, they left Jefferson Wells to become the Contract Compliance Officer at Inova Health System where they increased billing rates and margin for the practice. In 2007, they left Inova Health System to become the Chairman at National Association of Construction Auditors.

Brian D. Felix has a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland and a Certificate in Contract Management from UC Irvine. Brian is also certified by the National Association of Construction Auditors as a Certified Construction Auditor (CCA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and ISACA as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Brian is also certified by IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and by the National Association of Construction Auditors as a Construction Control Professional.
