Matthew Byrne

Matthew Byrne has extensive experience in emergency services and vehicle management. Currently serving as a Fire Arson Investigator at Manson Police Department since April 2017, Matthew is also an instructor for emergency vehicle operations and safety with VFIS and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. Matthew has had a long tenure as a Paramedic with Calhoun County Emergency Medical Services and as a part-time Patrol Officer for Manson Police Department. Prior experience includes roles in vehicle management with the Iowa Air National Guard and maintenance and repairs with Aspen Equipment. Matthew holds multiple degrees, including an Associate's degree in Production Management from the Community College of the Air Force and Diesel Mechanics Technology from Iowa Central Community College.
