Lauren Harp Cmp

Lauren Harp, CMP has a diverse background in conference and event management. Lauren is currently serving as the Director of Conferences and Events at the National Association of State Procurement Officials since October 2021. Before that, they held the position of Manager, Conference & Events at Bluerock Real Estate from January 2017 to November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Conference Planner at California State University, Sacramento in 2016. Lauren also has experience as a Manager, Corporate Events at Griffin Capital from 2012 to 2015 and as a Conference Coordinator at Grubb & Ellis Company from 2005 to 2011. Lauren started their career as an Intern at California State University in 2005.

Lauren Harp, CMP, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from CSU Fullerton between 2000 and 2005. Lauren further obtained a Project Management Certification from California State University-Sacramento in January 2017. In March 2016, they became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) through the Convention Industry Council. Additionally, Lauren Harp pursued Professional Meeting Planning at California State University, Fullerton, but it is unclear when they obtained this certification.
