Alex Miller

Alex Miller's work experience includes various roles in finance, operations, and sustainability analysis. From May 2023 onwards, Alex has been working as a Finance and Operations Manager at the National Audubon Society. Prior to this, Alex served as a Finance and Contracts Associate at the same organization starting in September 2020.

From February to August 2020, Alex worked as an Environmental/Social Impact Analyst at ISS | Institutional Shareholder Services.

From May 2016 to May 2019, Alex held the position of Sustainability Intern at Ithaca College, where they conducted research and analysis to provide reports on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. They also worked as a Teaching Assistant during the same period.

In 2018, Alex was a Finance and Accounting Intern at the American Wind Energy Association, where they reconciled expense accounts, reviewed investment portfolios, provided investment recommendations, and supported the selection of insurance programs.

Alex also has experience as the Chairman of the Advisory Board at Gimme! Coffee from May 2016 to December 2017, where they drafted public broadcasts on government policies.

Additionally, Alex was a Summer Intern at the Native American Finance Officers Association from May to September 2016, drafting public broadcasts on government policies and supporting workshop and scholarship programs.

From 2011 to 2016, Alex worked as a Dance Instructor at The Ballet Academy, and in 2015, they served as a Camp Counselor at the YMCA of the USA.

Alex Miller graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance and International Business in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Northwood High School in 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Alex became a Microsoft Excel Specialist in December 2017, receiving the certification from Microsoft.
