Lauren Lawson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Lauren began their career as a Guest Services Intern at the Philadelphia Eagles in 2007. After that, they worked as a Special Events Campaign Coordinator at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from 2008 to 2011. Lauren then transitioned to the YMCA, where they served as the Y Achievers Program Director from 2011 to 2012.
In 2012, Lauren joined the Curesearch-National Childhood Cancer Foundation as a Community Development Manager until 2013. Lauren then moved on to the North Brooklyn Parks Alliance, where they served as the Development & Events Manager from 2013 to 2015.
From 2015 to 2020, Lauren worked at The Trust for Public Land. Lauren started as an Events Manager from 2015 to 2018, then became the Senior Manager of Special Events, East from 2018 to 2019. Finally, they served as the Associate Director of Events from 2019 to 2020.
Currently, Lauren is employed at the National Audubon Society, where they have held two roles. Lauren first worked as the Director of Events and Engagement Programs from 2020 to 2022 and was later promoted to the position of Senior Director in February 2022.
Lauren Lawson attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication. In 2009, they enrolled at La Salle University and completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Professional and Business Communications in 2011. Additionally, Lauren obtained a certification in Cvent Event Management from Cvent in January 2023.
