Matthew Cheesman

Senior Manager, Building Operations at National Audubon Society

Matthew Cheesman has a diverse work experience in facility management and operations. Matthew most recently worked as a Senior Manager of Building Operations at the National Audubon Society, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Buro Happold as a Regional Facilities Manager for the US from November 2021 to August 2022.

From May 2018 to November 2021, Matthew was a Manager of Facilities at the International Rescue Committee. Before that, they held the role of Lead Facilities Coordinator at the same organization from May 2017 to May 2018.

Matthew's earlier career includes a position as an Office Services Manager at Taylor from July 2015 to November 2016. Matthew also worked at Canon Solutions America, where they served as a Lead Facilities Site Representative from July 2011 to July 2015 and as a Facilities Site Representative from April 2009 to July 2011.

Matthew Cheesman attended Bergen Community College from 2006 to 2007, where they studied psychology. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Hackensack High School from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Matthew obtained a certification in First Aid for Severe Bleeding from the American Red Cross in December 2020.
