Melissa Amarawardana has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Melissa is currently working as a Communications Manager at the National Audubon Society since August 2022. Melissa Amarawardana obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University in the years 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued their studies in Journalism and Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2004 to 2006. Later, they attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they completed their Master of Science degree in Political Science between 2013 and 2015.
