Umesh S. Kulkarni

Umesh S. Kulkarni is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and corporate finance. Currently serving as Head of Credit Risk at the National Bank of Bahrain since September 2021, Umesh oversees risks associated with large corporates and financial institutions. Previously, Umesh held various leadership positions at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank from February 2007 to August 2021, leading the Wholesale Credit team and managing corporate credit and finance for government and strategic clients. Umesh's earlier roles include Deputy General Manager at Essar Group, where Umesh contributed significantly to the group's renewable energy initiatives, and Manager positions at L & T Capital Company Ltd. and Meghraj SP Corporate Finance. Umesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pune.
