Thetis Ioannou

Thetis Ioannou is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Group Financial Institutions at the National Bank of Greece since January 2008. Prior to this role, Thetis held the position of Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group at American Express Bank Ltd from August 1974 to January 2008. Educational credentials include a BSc in Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing (1980-1983) and a BA (Hons) in Painting, Sculpture & History of Art from the University of Athens - The School of Fine Arts (1973-1978), as well as studies at Athens University of Economics and Business (1975-1980).
