Patrick H. KIRENGA, CPA, CFIP, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in microfinance supervision and auditing. Currently serving as Senior Inspector at the National Bank of Rwanda since May 2020, Patrick leads teams in the off-site and on-site supervision of Microfinance Institutions, assessing their soundness across various risk areas and ensuring compliance with international best practices. Previously, Patrick held roles at the Office of the Auditor General - SAI Rwanda and PwC, where auditing skills were honed through operational and financial audits. Educated at the University of Rwanda, Patrick holds a Master's degree in MBA Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance.
