Kathy Schmitt

Kathy Schmitt currently serves as the Associate Editor of Seminary Journal at the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), a position held since July 2006. In this role, Kathy is responsible for editing and publishing various materials for the NCEA Seminary Department, including the Seminary Journal, while also providing essential administrative support. Prior to this, Kathy directed the Appalachian Office of Justice and Peace for the Diocese of Richmond, VA, from July 2002 to June 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master of Divinity with a specialization in Bible from Catholic Theological Union (1990-1995) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Virginia Tech (1984-1988).
