Emily Startup

Emily Startup is an experienced professional in fundraising and project coordination, currently serving as the Development Manager at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights since March 2021. Previously, Emily held positions such as Director of Fundraising for Lisa Cupid's campaign for Cobb County Chair and Lead Administrator and Fundraising Staff for Ted Terry's US Senate campaign, where responsibilities included organizing events, managing volunteer outreach, and maintaining social media content. With a background as a Projects Coordinator at the National Monuments Foundation and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia, Emily has developed strong skills in education, communication, and historical research. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Georgia, earned in 2016.
