Program Specialist, Amber Alert Operations at National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

Carly Tapp is an experienced professional in the field of public safety and forensic science, currently serving as Program Manager for Special Programs (AMBER Alerts) at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children since January 2008. Carly has progressed through various roles within the organization, including Program Specialist and Senior Special Programs Coordinator, and has foundational experience in call center operations. Prior to joining the National Center, Carly worked as Office Manager at the American Council of Trustees and Alumni and as Assistant Debate Coach at The Catholic University of America. Carly holds a Master of Science in Forensic Science and a Graduate Certificate in Crime Scene Investigation from George Mason University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Catholic University of America.
