John Pollock has extensive experience in legal advocacy and civil rights, currently serving as Coordinator for the National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel since February 2009, where efforts focus on expanding the right to counsel for individuals facing critical civil issues. Prior experience includes serving as an Attorney for the Central Alabama Fair Housing Center, where John handled cases under the Fair Housing Act, and as Law Fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center, concentrating on labor law and civil rights issues. Earlier roles include Student Manager at Shelter Legal Services, managing legal clinics and representing clients, and various systems administration positions in the technology sector. John Pollock holds a JD from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University in English Language and Literature.
