Megan MacKenzie Cmp

Megan MacKenzie, CMP, is an experienced Meetings Manager at the National Conference of State Legislatures since July 2019, overseeing the planning and execution of over 25 meetings annually across various programs. Previously, Megan served as a Meeting Specialist, successfully transitioning the organization to virtual meetings and managing logistics for considerable events, including a first virtual conference for 2,500 attendees. Prior experience includes roles at the American Water Works Association, where responsibilities involved managing multiple conferences and events, and at Peter Corvallis Productions as an Event Consultant, planning large-scale events for notable clients. Megan began their career in event production with roles in administrative assistance and production assistance at major events such as Super Bowl XLVII. Educational qualifications include a BS in Business Administration with a marketing emphasis from the University of Oregon.
