Maria Burke

Maria Burke is currently working as a Research Analyst at the National Council on Teacher Quality since May 2019. Prior to this, Maria was a Project Intern at the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay for a brief period in 2022. From 2007 to 2019, Maria served as the Director at Lighthouse Learning LLC, specializing in homeschool education. Additionally, Maria worked as an Upper Elementary Guide at Abintra Montessori School from 2011 to 2017. Maria has experience in analyzing educational programs, writing case studies, providing consulting for homeschooling, and leading lessons in various subjects.
