Ruth Chavez

Ruth Chavez currently serves as a Small Business Community Navigator for the National Disability Institute since February 2022, focusing on supporting entrepreneurs with disabilities through resource connections and needs assessments. Previously, Ruth worked as a Small Business Consultant for File Taxes 1040 and was a Bilingual Business Consultant & Training Coordinator at the Maryland Small Business Development Center. Ruth's extensive experience also includes roles at the University of Maryland, where responsibilities included consulting for clients, event planning, and relationship building with resource partners. In addition, Ruth has experience as a Bilingual Tax Preparer, managing tax returns and offering consulting services.
