Maryam Zahid

Maryam Zahid is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Assistant Manager Environment at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Pakistan since November 2023. Prior to this role, Maryam worked as an Environmental Engineer at Zeeruk International from August 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included developing technical proposals in areas such as Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Solid Waste Management, and Climate Change, along with conducting research in Badin, Sindh. Maryam has also contributed as a Mathematics Tutor for O/A level students at Studentpark from January 2020 to September 2023, and has gained valuable insights through internships at the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency and other organizations. Maryam holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
