Daniel Ocampo is a professional with extensive experience in legal advocacy and research, particularly in immigration and consumer protection. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney on the Work Structures Team at the National Employment Law Project since September 2022, Daniel previously held positions as a Legal Fellow and a Student Intern at the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic. Daniel's background includes work as a Research Assistant to Professor Lucas Guttentag at Yale Law School, focusing on the Immigration Policy Tracker Project, and as a Summer Law Clerk for the Judiciary Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives, concentrating on immigration issues. Daniel has gained valuable experience through internships with the Office of the New York State Attorney General, Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project, New York Legal Assistance Group, Kids in Need of Defense, and the International Rescue Committee.
