Giles Clark

Giles joined National Energy in early 2018 as CIO and is a highly seasoned solar executive and value investor. Given his deep industry expertise in renewable energy, Giles advises the company on strategic planning, especially across cross-border M&A activities. As a solar entrepreneur over the past 15 years, Giles has a long track investing across differentiated markets and at various stages of the solar value chain. He has executed over $2bn of successful solar transactions, representing more than 2GWp of project rights and project assets which returned significant value for underlying investors. He founded Primrose Solar in 2013 which acquired and built 253 MWp of solar in the UK, including three of the largest ground-mounted farms in the UK at the time.
