Roger Rhoads began their work experience at the U.S. Census Bureau in 1991, where they held the role of Supervisory IT Specialist until 2013. Roger then moved on to Peregrine Technical Solutions as an Independent Consultant for a few months in 2013. In 2014, they joined the National Energy Technology Laboratory as Chief, Infrastructure Operations & Engineering, and later became the Acting Chief Information Officer.
