Scott White has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Scott began their career as a Studio Technician at Virginia Voice and then worked as a Sales Manager at Access Technology, Incorporated. Scott later became an Adaptive Technology Instructor, providing consultation and training on blindness and low vision adaptive technology. Scott also served as a Consultant for SSB, examining website usability for individuals using screen reading technology. Scott then transitioned to Circuit City as a Senior Systems Administrator, responsible for maintaining hardware and software at multiple locations. Currently, they are the Director of Sponsored Technology Programs at the National Federation of the Blind, overseeing operations and marketing of their accessible information source.
Scott White attended J Sargeant Reynolds Community College and obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 1990. Additionally, in the same year, they also earned another Associate's degree from J Sargeant Reynolds Community College, this time in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Furthermore, Scott obtained a Microcomputer Programming Certificate from J Sargeant Reynolds Community College, also in 1990. Prior to attending college, they graduated from King William High School in 1981 and was awarded a High School Diploma.
