Derek Steiner

Derek Steiner is a seasoned project engineer with a strong background in natural gas facility projects and mechanical engineering. Currently serving at National Fuel Gas Company since September 2017, Derek provides project design and management, ensuring effective coordination with departments and external stakeholders. Previous experience as a technical support engineer at Great Lakes Case & Cabinet involved custom product design, client communication, and technical problem-solving. Early career roles included sales associate and repairman at Warehouse Sales, where Derek honed communication and critical thinking skills. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College and has educational experience from both Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Shenango and Sharon High School.
