Michelle Rafferty

Michelle Rafferty has a strong background in workforce development and strategic initiatives. Michelle is currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at the National Fund for Workforce Solutions. Prior to this role, they held positions at various organizations such as the Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation, Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, SER Metro-Detroit, Central States SER, Jobs for Progress, Inc., and the United Way for Southeastern Michigan. In these roles, they showcased their expertise in program development, policy analysis, data tracking systems, grant funding, and staff management. Michelle has a track record of creating and implementing initiatives aimed at providing individuals with training, employment, and supportive services. Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their current position as Chief Program Officer.

Michelle Rafferty earned a BA degree in Anthropology from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Later on, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completing their Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Social Policy.
