Michael Baran

Michael Baran is an experienced Information Security Analyst with a focus on real-time analysis and incident response. Currently serving as an Information Security Analyst II at the National Futures Association since March 2020, Michael previously held roles at Dell SecureWorks as an Information Security Analyst from April 2016 to March 2020, where responsibilities included analyzing security incidents and configuring security systems. Prior to that, Michael operated Baran's IT Consulting from August 2009 to April 2016, providing networking support, custom computer building, and troubleshooting services. Michael's earlier experience includes a role as a Pharmacy Technician at Symbria Rx Services in 2011. Michael holds a Master of Science in Information Security from Lewis University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
