Brian Doneghan

Brian Doneghan has a comprehensive work history, starting in 1979 as a Police Officer with Lothian and Borders Police. Brian held this role for almost 30 years until April 2008. In June 2008, they joined the National Galleries of Scotland as the Head of Security, a position they held until February 2012. From February 2012 to July 2018, they served as the Head of Operations. Currently, Brian is the Director of Operations at the National Galleries of Scotland.

Brian Doneghan attended John Ruskin Grammar School in Croydon from 1966 to 1973. Brian then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Modern History from the University of Dundee, graduating in 1977.
