Eileen O'Tousa-Crowson is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in children's media and publication. Currently serving as Senior Design Editor for Nat Geo Kids and Little Kids magazines at National Geographic since October 2012, Eileen is dedicated to creating inspiring and empowering content for children through engaging stories and interactive elements. Previously, Eileen held various design director roles within the same publications, and worked as a TechLEAP Apprentice at Montgomery College. Eileen's early career includes positions as Creative Director at Washingtonian Magazine and Associate Art Director at Potomac Communications Group, Inc. Eileen holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Design from the University of Maryland, an Associate in Arts in Visual Communications from Montgomery College, and is currently pursuing a certificate in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design through Udemy. Key competencies include proficiency in Mac and Windows operating systems, web technologies, and various design software.
