Mekdela Daniel

Mekdela Daniel is a communications and content specialist with diverse experience in public relations, graphic design, and inclusive content management. Currently serving as the Coordinator for Inclusive Content & Engagement at The Walt Disney Company since July 2022, Mekdela previously held the role of Communications Manager at Mehari Sequar Gallery, where responsibilities included managing social media, developing content strategies, and researching BIPOC artists. Additional experience includes positions as a Graphic Designer for Invent2Prevent focused on domestic terrorism and implicit bias, and as a Public Relations Specialist for Nappyheadclub, where popular content was created to promote mindfulness. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Howard University, with prior studies at George Mason University.
