Nancy Collins Schumacher has held various roles throughout their career. Nancy is currently the SVP and GM of National Geographic Expeditions and Adventures by Disney at National Geographic Partners, a position they have held since September 2019. Prior to this, they were the SVP and GM of Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions at The Walt Disney Company starting in September 2019. From July 2017 to September 2019, they served as the EVP of Travel and Tour Operations and Senior Vice President of Tour Operations at National Geographic Partners. Before joining National Geographic Partners, they were the CEO and Founder of Global Adrenaline from February 2001 to May 2017. Nancy also worked as a Marketing Director at Altgate Capital from September 2000 to May 2001 and an Investment Officer at the World Bank/International Finance Corporation from September 1999 to September 2000. Nancy began their career as a Summer Intern at the International Rescue Committee in Macedonia, Kosovo, Burundi, Kenya, and Tanzania. Nancy holds a degree from Harvard Business School and a degree from Oxford University.

Nancy Collins Schumacher completed their education at various prestigious institutions. Nancy first attended Princeton University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Oxford, where they completed a Master of Science (MSC) degree in Development Economics from 1996 to 1997. Finally, Nancy attended Harvard Business School from 1997 to 1999, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business.
