Patricia Healy currently serves as an Editor for Maps and Graphics at National Geographic, a position held since September 2021. Since August 2002, Patricia has operated as a Freelance Graphics Researcher through HealyResearch.com, focusing on cartographic, art, and photo research. Previous experience includes leading the children's literacy and mentoring program as the Lead School Coordinator for Everybody Wins DC from August 2016 to March 2018, and working as a Substitute Teacher at Arlington Public Schools between June 2012 and December 2014. From January 1998 to March 2003, Patricia worked as a Research Cartographer at the National Geographic Society. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University at Albany, earned between 1989 and 1992.
