Shweta Gulati

Shweta Gulati is a seasoned multimedia producer currently working as a Social Video Producer at National Geographic since June 2018, where Shweta creates immersive visual experiences and curates engaging video content for social media, reaching an audience of approximately 276 million. Previously, Shweta served as an Associate Photo Editor at National Geographic, focusing on developing features for the magazine and Traveler while commissioning renowned photographers. Prior to this, Shweta held the position of Visual Storytelling Fellow at Accountability Lab, producing photo stories and documentaries for nonprofit initiatives. Shweta began their career as a Software Engineer at eBay, contributing to large-scale system reliability through web-based tool development. Shweta holds a Master’s degree in Photography from Syracuse University and another Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, alongside a BTech in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat.
