Sophia Yager

Sophia Yager is a skilled policy analyst currently working with the National Governors Association since January 2022. Previously, Yager served as the Membership Engagement Director at the Vermont Chamber of Commerce from January 2021 to January 2022 and held the position of Deputy Director at the Vermont State Workforce Development Board while working in the Office of Governor Phil Scott from September 2017 to January 2021. Additional experience includes serving as a researcher for the Vermont Legislative Research Service and as a government relations intern with the American Cancer Society. Yager holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Vermont, where studies commenced in 2015 and concluded in 2017, after attending American University from 2013 to 2015.
