Aldrin Galo

Principal Protection Relay Engineer at NGCP

Aldrin Galo is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in protection relay engineering and substation design. Since January 2016, Aldrin has served as a Principal Protection Relay Engineer at the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, conducting periodic testing of various protection relays for high voltage systems. Concurrently, as a freelance Substation Designer and Power System Engineer, Aldrin specializes in electrical substation design, project bidding, and equipment specifications. Previous roles include Transformer Design Engineer at First Philec Inc., where Aldrin designed distribution transformers, and Power Plant Engineer at DMCI Power Corporation, overseeing the operation of diesel-fired generators. Aldrin's engineering career began with trainee positions at the National Electrification Administration and JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation. Aldrin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, awarded in 2014.
