Greg Hoel

Greg Hoel, CISSP, serves as the Senior Cybersecurity Officer at National Grid since May 2021. Previously, Greg held the position of Cybersecurity Architect at Banner Health for a brief period and worked as Principal Engineer of Network Security Architecture at Charter Communications from December 2015 to October 2020. Other notable roles include Network Engineer at Comcast and Senior Technical Specialist at NuAxis, LLC, supporting the US Department of the Interior. Greg's earlier experience includes serving as Principal of Information Technology Consulting at Boxer Services and as Senior Manager of Networks at Dell Perot Systems. The career began as Director of IT for Infrastructure and Client Services at KB Home. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Security and Risk Analysis from Penn State and is currently a candidate for a Master of Professional Studies in Enterprise Architecture and Business Transformation at the same institution.
