Kirk Hurme

Kirk Hurme currently serves as the Chief of Global Design and Innovation at National Grid, a position held since September 2008, where responsibilities include leadership in design and innovation initiatives. Previously, Kirk held the role of Director of Leadership, Design, and Innovation at the same company. Prior to joining National Grid, Kirk served in the US Navy from 2001 to 2008 as a Surface Warfare Officer and achieved the rank of Lieutenant. Kirk holds a Master of Education in Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, obtained between 2006 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus on Finance from the University of Virginia, earned from 1997 to 2001.
